Keep a Light

in your Window

Divorced and penniless, Bruce Randolph returned to Colorado in his 60's after many business ventures across the country.  At the age of 65 and with the help of his son, Bruce Jr., he opened "Daddy Bruce's BBQ" in Denver.  The restaurant was an overnight success.

Inspired by the kindness of others he had received throughout his life, Bruce decided to feed thanksgiving dinner to the hungry and less fortunate in his community.  This became a tradition which has lasted for decades, indeed even outlasting Bruce himself.  His philanthropy and the legacy it inspired garnered praise from many, including Presidents Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama.  A street and a school were named in his honor, and he inspired many other restauranteurs to follow his example.

Keep a Light in Your Window is the official documentary about the life and Legacy of "Daddy" Bruce Randolph.
